Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about VarCard virtual cards.

Getting Started
What is VarCard?
VarCard is a virtual card platform that allows you to create secure, disposable credit cards for online payments, subscriptions, and advertising spend. Each card can have custom spending limits and controls.
How do I create my first virtual card?
Simply log into your dashboard, click "Create New Card", select your card type (single-use or recurring), set any desired limits, and your card details will be generated instantly.
Is VarCard secure?
Yes, your security is our priority. Our platform uses bank-level encryption, multi-factor authentication, and PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure to ensure your data and funds are always protected.
What payment networks do you support?
We currently support major global payment networks including Visa and Mastercard, meaning your virtual cards can be used anywhere these payment methods are accepted online.
Pricing & Plans
How much does VarCard cost?
We offer multiple pricing tiers depending on your needs. Our basic plan starts free with a per-transaction fee, while our premium tiers offer fixed monthly rates and lower transaction costs. Check our Pricing page for more details.
Can I try VarCard for free?
Absolutely! Our core platform is free to join. You can sign up, explore the dashboard, and create your first funding source without any setup fees.
What happens if I exceed my card limit?
Any transaction that exceeds the predefined limit of a specific virtual card will be automatically declined, ensuring you never overspend your set budget.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If a merchant triggers a refund to one of your virtual cards, the funds will be automatically credited back to your main account balance.
Card Management
Can I set spending limits on my cards?
Yes, you can set daily, weekly, monthly, or all-time spending limits on any virtual card. You can also adjust limits dynamically from your dashboard.
How do I freeze or cancel a card?
Navigate to 'Cards' in your dashboard, select the specific card, and click the 'Freeze' toggle or 'Cancel Card' button. Freezing is reversible, while cancellation is permanent.
Can I restrict cards to specific merchants?
Depending on your tier, you can lock a virtual card to the very first merchant it transacts with, ensuring the card cannot be stolen and used elsewhere.
How long does it take to create a card?
Processing is instant. As soon as you confirm the card details, the real 16-digit PAN, Expiry, and CVV are generated and ready to use immediately.
Transactions & Billing
How are transactions processed?
When a merchant charges your virtual card, the cost is seamlessly pulled from your central VarCard account balance in real-time.
Will I get notifications for transactions?
Yes, you can configure your account to receive email, SMS, or Telegram alerts every time a transaction is authorized, declined, or refunded.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are processed automatically and typically appear in your account balance within 3 to 7 business days, depending on the merchant's processing time.
Can I export my transaction history?
Of course. You can download comprehensive CSV or PDF statements detailing your entire account or specific card transaction histories for accounting purposes.
API & Integrations
Does VarCard have an API?
Yes, we offer a robust REST API for enterprise and business clients wanting to integrate card issuance directly into their own software workflows.
What can I do with the API?
You can programmatically issue, fund, freeze, update limits, and terminate virtual cards without ever needing to use the dashboard interface.
Do you support webhooks?
